Sealed bids will be received for Douglas Park Cemetery Roads Improvements in the office of the City Clerk until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 4th, 2019 and read immediately thereafter in the Conference Room at City Hall, 101 N. 4th St., Douglas, Wyoming. Complete requirements and copies of contract documents are available at the Public Works Dept., 420 W. Grant St. Douglas, WY 82633, 307-358-9750. Mail proposals to the City of Douglas, P.O. Box 1030, Douglas, WY 82633, or deliver to the City Clerk at 101 N. 4th Street.  

Scope of project to include: Approximately 10,000 Lineal feet of 16-foot wide roadways to receive +/- 6 inches grading “W” road base, bladed and compacted.

A pre-bid meeting and site tour will be held at Douglas Park Cemetery Office, 501 South 9th Street, at 1:30 pm on Thursday, August 29th, 2019.  This meeting is not mandatory, but potential bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.

Qualifications:
Bid proposals delivered in person will be received ONLY at the Office of the City Clerk. Bids received AFTER the time fixed for bid reception will not be considered. All bids must be clearly marked: “Douglas Park Cemetery Roads Improvements” with the bidder’s name and the time and date of the opening on the outside of the envelope. The CONTRACTOR shall include in the unit bid prices any compensating tax that must be paid. A certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid must accompany each bid. The City of Douglas will allow a 5% preference to Wyoming residents. Bidders will supply a Certificate of Residency in compliance with the Wyoming Department of Labor and Statistics.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to waive informalities; and to accept the bid that is in the best interests of the City of Douglas.
