Description:
The City of Douglas, Wyoming, is requesting Proposals from responsible firms or individuals to provide contract professional design and project administration services to update the community Skate Park for the City of Douglas. Duties include but are not limited to: preparation of preliminary design; environmental documentation; engineering cost estimates; final design; plans and specification; complete contract documents for bidding; community outreach; and other work as necessary to complete the project. As per Addendum Number One, interested and qualified individuals or firms are invited to submit a Proposal outlining their qualifications and itemized costs. Proposals for “City of Douglas – Skate Park Design/Build” will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. local time on January 31, 2018. Fax or e-mail submittals will not be accepted. Proposals received after the deadline will be returned unopened. Proposals will not be read aloud as this is not a single cost bid proposal but a Request for Proposals. Proposals are to be delivered to Douglas City Hall, Attn: City Clerk, 101 N. 4th Street, P.O. Box 1030, Douglas, Wyoming 82633. The City of Douglas reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals and to waive any irregularities or technicalities in the submittals as it deems appropriate to best serve the public interest. Qualifications:
Consultant must provide proof of insurance with minimums that meet or exceed required minimums with Wyoming State Statutes.
Special Requirements:
Consultant shall provide a general list of all materials, equipment and labor necessary perform the tasks outlined, including administrative support and fees, and shall provide cost numbers for these items. Proposals cannot be withdrawn for 30 days after the day that Proposals are due.
Miscellaneous:
This contract will be for a period of one year, renewable upon agreement of each party. Payments to the Consultant will be once per month and will be made on a proven expenditure basis. Payments on each monthly Pay Application will be made following the City of Douglas Purchasing Policy.
