The City of Douglas (City) is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Professional Architectural Services from qualified firm(s) interested in providing architectural services for renovation of City Hall in Douglas, Wyoming, located at 101 N. 4th Street, Douglas, Wyoming. Final design and construction will depend on approval of proposed renovations by the Douglas City Council, City Administrator and staff. The City of Douglas proposes to retain a highly qualified, capable firm(s) to act as the Architect throughout the planning and completion of the remodel of City Hall. RFQs for “City of Douglas – City Hall Remodel” will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. local time on Friday, August 17, 2018.  RFQs are to be delivered to Douglas City Hall, Attn: City Clerk, 101 N. 4th Street, P.O. Fax or e-mail RFQs will not be accepted, and RFQs received after the deadline will be returned unopened. RFQs will not be read aloud as this is not a single cost bid proposal. See the RFQ document for all requirements.
Special Requirements:
The City of Douglas reserves the right to reject any and all RFQs and to waive any irregularities or technicalities in the RFQs as it deems appropriate to best serve the public interest. The City of Douglas reserves the right to negotiate with one or more parties and is not obligated to enter into any contract with any respondent on any terms or conditions.
It is anticipated that work associated with this RFQ will begin late summer or early fall of 2018. The successful applicant will be expected to produce drawings with multiple floor plan options and consult with City Staff and City Council.
